The Western North Carolina Nature Center has been instrumental in re-introducing and saving the endangered Red Wolf. The Nature Center provides triage for injured wildlife, offers numerous educational opportunities, and houses a variety of flora and fauna from the Appalachian region. In addition to the wildlife, the Nature Center has a petting area with farm animals.

Donating Profits

Now through through December 25, 2012 (Christmas), John Haldane will donate 1/2 of all profits from sales of his photos at Fine Art America to the Western North Carolina Nature Center. He currently has over 320 images there they can all be seen at this link: http://john-haldane.artistwebsites.com/?tab=artworkgalleries

Images sell in a variety of sizes and formats. Many are from North Carolina or the Blue Ridge Parkway. A few are of Nature Center animals. Others are from across the USA including National Parks and familiar landmarks. There are literally hundreds of choices from prints to Christmas cards.
